In 1987, in the heart of Areekode, Malappuram, our father opened Alfa Appliance — the very first home
appliance store the town had ever seen. It didn't start out that way, though. The original vision was for
something grander: a fancy store, full of premium goods and showroom glamour.
But Areekode had its own answer for that. The community didn't need glamour. It needed reliability. It
needed someone who understood what families here actually had to live with, day to day. And so, quietly
and honestly, Alfa Appliance became exactly that — a home appliance business built on trust and
practical service.
